Sharp AFS100RX is a 10,000 BTU window type air conditioner. It features 4-Way air direction, easy access washable filter, energy-save mode, auto-cool, and 24-hour On/Off timer. The Sharp AFS100RX air conditioner can provide cool comfort for a 300 to 500 square feet room.
Design and features
Sharp AFS100RX air conditioner complies with ‘ENERGY STAR Efficiency’, which conserves at least 10 percent more energy than the minimum Federal standard and saves on the electric bill. The ‘Energy Save Mode’ works when cooling is not desired; you can use this feature to save energy. ‘Rest Easy Remote’ is a convenient feature of the Sharp air conditioner.
Sharp AFS100RX air conditioner features ‘4-Way Air Direction’, which ensures even air distribution across the room. This mechanism works with the help of both horizontal and vertical louvers. The horizontal louvers adjust the UP/DOWN direction of air flow, whereas the vertical louvers adjust the LEFT/Right direction of air flow for uniform and efficient cooling of the room. The air conditioner has ‘Easy Access Washable Filter’ that lets you clean the filter easily and effortlessly.
Electronic features
The ’24 Hour On/Off Timer’ of the Sharp air conditioner enables you to change delay timer at 0.5-hour increments, up to 10 hours, and then at 1-hour increments up to 24 hours. The Timer On Mode automatically selects cooling with maximum Fan Speed. With the ‘Auto Cool’ option, you can adjust the Fan Speed corresponding to the demand for cooling. ‘Quietness’ is a comforting feature of Sharp AFS100RX. The Air Conditioner runs quietly during operation, though it produces a soft, swishing noise for 2 to 3 minutes when it is first turned on.
The ‘Memory Function’ is a useful feature of the Air Conditioner, which stores settings when a power failure occurs. After power recovery, Sharp AFS100RX will automatically re-start in the same settings, which were active before the power failure.
The Remote lets you switch on/off the air conditioner, change the cooling speed/fan speed to adjust the temperature and set the Timer. The Air Conditioner comes with ‘Comfort Touch Controls’, which include one-degree temperature control increments.
The easy-to-install Sharp Air Conditioner comes with 1-year limited parts and labor warranty. The sealed cooling system parts of the air conditioner are entitled to a 5-year warranty, but labor and service are not provided free of charge for an additional 4 years.
