Asus A54C-AB31 comes in black color. It is one of the few laptops that sports Intel Core i3 processor while keeping the price under $400. It features Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. Asus A54C-AB31 comes with onboard Intel GMA HD graphics and built-in 4GB SO-DIMM RAM.
Design and features
Keys of the keyboard are soft. It does not make much noise. Unlike keyboards of laptops from other brands, Asus laptops conveniently have the touchpad just beneath the ‘Space’ button. It reduces your headache about accidental touch on the touchpad while you are typing. The power button and Altek Lensing speaker is located above the keyboard.
Asus has implemented better venting options in A54C series laptops. The main vent is located on its left panel, and there are three more on the front side. The card reader, audio, and mic ports are conveniently located on the front. The DVD burner is located on the right panel as usual.

We were able to get connected to the internet without any trouble; we experienced stable connection and speed, thanks to the good Wi-Fi reception ability of the A54C-AB31. The webcam output was bright and clear. The microphone also did a good job when video chatting. Asus A54C-AB31 weighs 5.7 pounds.

Asus A54C-AB31 can run programs pretty fast. It does not get hot after long use. The fan is quiet. Wi-Fi reception is great. The display is bright and crisp. The battery life is reasonable.
