A4Tech G11-570FX wireless Mouse comes with some handy features. It comes with 7 buttons, a 4-way wheel (for vertical and horizontal scrolling), rechargeable battery, and an effective wireless range of 15 meters.

Look and feel

G11-570FX wireless Mouse comes in four different colors. It comes in black with silver, or blue, or red, or yellow. We had the black with blue color Mouse to review in our lab. It looked nice but not so much as we expected. The glossy slippery plastic body rather looked cheap. However, the rubbery surface on the left and right compensated for that. It is ergonomically designed for right-handed users. Unlike other Mice, G11-570FX does not have any hole underneath making it more resilient against dust and liquid.

A4Tech G11-570FXA4Tech G11-570FX Mouse has seven buttons. The DPI button above wheel lets you choose from 5 adjustable resolutions 800, 1000, 1200, 1600, and 2000 DPI. The button below wheel is the office shuttle button, which is programmable (with office shuttle software) and can be used as a quick button for screen capturing, TutorPen and so on. The other two buttons are located at the thumb rest.

G11-570FX uses its wheel light as a charging indicator. The wheel light turns red when the Mouse is charging. It blinks when the charge becomes low, and it turns off automatically once it is fully charged. The HD mouse comes with a tiny USB cord to charge the Mouse. The charging port is located at the front of the Mouse.

Performance

A4Tech G11-570FXWe tested A4Tech G11-570FX 12 meters away from the computer and it worked fine. The precision was exceptional when we set the DPI to 1600 or 2000. The buttons worked well and felt good when clicking. The 4-way wheel was smooth. Scrolling documents was easy and quick.

Though the Mouse has power saving settings and automatic power off technology, its battery did not last expectedly and we had to recharge it in 8 days of usage. Of course, we used the Mouse extensively. During the test, we used the Mouse to play games sitting 10 meters away from the monitor. Possibly more distance draws out more juice out of the battery. As we started working at our desk, we did not have to recharge the Mouse once in 2 weeks. Recharging is a hassle. It requires turning the wireless Mouse into a wired one. However, on the plus side, it doesn’t take much time to fully recharge itself.

The RF channel lock worked nicely. We use many different wireless accessories and this little feature made life easy saving us from being blocked by wireless signals from other devices.
